Superboy #4

Another comic early in it's run. So far running entirely on comic book cliches. Some nice story seeds planted early. Psionic lad from the future, but not the Legion future! (Yes apparently other times in-between actually exist as well!) Science Police from the future run like hell after Superboy's sidekick Simon enters the room. Could be someone important in the future!



Lori found out Superboy's secret identity last issue, although he doesn't know yet, and thier relationship seems pretty forced this issue. The cliff hanger is that Psionic lad lied about why he came back and plans to kill Superboy, yes another comic story cliche. How many times can Superboy be lied to and believe it?! Despite it's flaws this is still an enjoyable book. Lemire seems to tell stories better when he's doing art as well.
