Superman #708
The Grounded storyline plods along, as Superman walks the length of America to help people. Yeah sounds amazingly interesting. After a series of mostly self contained stories we get a breath of fresh air as we are introduced to the fortress of solidarity. A place where all the Supermen of multiple times and earths can come and be together. The first interesting thing to happen since this story started. It feels as awe inspiring to me as it does to Superman in the book. My favorite example of just how many people have taken up the Superman mantle or heritage is this panel.
Then the second half of the book is Superman being sent to a flood and tornado disaster, to help inspire the newly messed up backstory, Wonder Woman. Why just why did she need to forget who she was and go and become a warrior instead of a hero? Her story makes no sense. I hope it's something to do with Max Lord being back- seen as she killed him the first time.
